The Phantom 3 Advanced is the most reliable drone in the Phantom 3 lineup. Essentially the same as the more expensive Phantom 3 Professional, the only difference is in the camera which records in a lower resolution. The Phantom 3 Advanced is quite susceptible to gimbal damage as well as motor ESC errors.

DJI Phantom 3 Professional

The Phantom 3 Professional is the flagship of the Phantom 3 range, and has a camera that records 4K video. This drone is equipped with a VPS system that aids stability close to the ground, and the combined GPS/GLONASS receiver ensures constant satellite signal. As with the Phantom 3 Advanced, the Pro has a fragile gimbal which is easily damaged and can be susceptible to motor damage. Other faults include stress fractures in the shell and controller charging problems.
