The Phantom 3 Professional & Advanced, Phantom 4 models, Inspire 1 and Inspire 2 drones from DJI all use a very similar controller. Despite the different motherboards used, all of these controllers suffer from various common faults. We can repair any fault with these controllers, but we’ve collated a few common faults below:
Phantom 3 controller
- Failure to charge
- Not connecting to USB device
- Only working when plugged in to charger
- Cracked and damaged casings
Phantom 4 controllers including Phantom 4 Pro, Pro Plus, Advanced, V2.0 & Obsidian
- Failure to charge
- Poor radio range
- Short battery life
Inspire 1 controller
- Failure to charge
- Not connecting to USB device

All of our DJI Repair Services come with the Drone Doctor UK Repair Promise. This includes one year warranty on the parts replaced and comprehensive testing of the multirotor before we send it back to you.
