1. Get a quote

Simply click “book a repair” and follow the steps. You’ll then be able to download a free Royal Mail label to send your drone in.

We will need to see your drone here to give an exact repair quote. It’s free to get it to us, and if you decide not to go ahead with the repair we only charge £9.95 to cover our time to check it over, and the return postage. This way you’ll get an exact quote every time.

If you just want a rough guide price, please contact us by phone or email.

2. We’ll check it over for you

As soon as your drone arrives in our workshop, you’ll get an email to say that it’s here safe and sound.

A technician will carefully unpack it and send you a quote.

If you choose to accept the quote, it’ll automatically get placed in the repair queue. We don’t want payment until the repair is finished.

3. We work our magic

Once your drone reaches the top of the queue, we’ll carry out the repair. We keep parts in stock for tall the drones that we repair.

When the repair is complete, we’ll test fly it and then another technician checks it over.

After this we’ll ask for payment. We can hold items for up to 90 days.

4. Back to you!

Once payment is made (we accept all major credit cards, bank transfer or Klarna) we’ll send your drone back.

We offer a choice of Royal Mail, DPD and APC Overnight. As standard we use insured shipping but you can choose cheaper uninsured postage if you like.

The drone will arrive back to you ready to fly. Drone Doctor provides a 1 year guarantee on the parts and labour involved in our repair.

What should I send?

For Minis, Phantoms, Mavics & Inspires: We require your Quadcopter (inc camera) and controller only. We don’t require SD Cards, Batteries, Battery Charger, Micro USB Cable etc, Please don’t send these

If you are sending your item from overseas please do not include your battery due to shipping restrictions. Please do not send any damaged batteries of any kind.

How long does it take?

We aim to have your quadcopter diagnosed, the repair costed, repaired and back to you within 5 working days. This can vary depending on demand and parts availability.

Please note that during busy periods such as summer, our turnaround time may be longer; however, our aim is to provide a high level of service and repair quality instead of rushing jobs out as quickly as possible.

We place orders with DJI and other suppliers for parts every week, so we usually have everything in stock for your repair. In some rare cases, though, parts may be on backorder which will prevent us from repairing the item straight away. If this is the case you will usually be advised of a wait when the quote is issued.

For our current and up to date turnaround time, please see our homepage or give us a call.

I’m not sure whats wrong with my drone – can you help?

Absolutely. Let us know the symptoms and our experienced engineers will get to the bottom of the issue.

Please use the “Contact Us” link

Whilst we will always issue a diagnosis as accurately as possible, we cannot check flight logs as standard. If you wish for flight logs to be checked (such as for an insurance claim) then please contact us accordingly.

Do you test fly before sending my drone back?

Yes.  Every drone is fully flight tested before it is carefully packed up and returned to you.
